I am a Surveillance Specialist, Private Investigator and Security Consultant with a wealth of Security Industry experience gained in over 30 years in the British Army and the Security Industry worldwide. I am an experienced Team Leader and Team Member but I am also an effective independent operator and I have worked in a variety of hostile and non-hostile situations.
I have excellent communication and computer skills that have been developed over many years in high stress situations. I work effectively to strict deadlines and budgets and can plan and execute large tasks where I am result orientated and work to achieve the best possible result for every task I undertake.
My responsibilities have included high and low risk Royal Families, Ministers and very senior military officers but I have also worked in the corporate and private sector including private families. During my time in the forces, I carried out a 12 month secondment to a British Royal family and a 2 year secondment with British Special Forces on surveillance. I have seen active service in a variety of theatres worldwide.
I now specialize in Security Consultancy carrying out surveys for high net worth clients advising them on their security needs. I also carry out all forms of Surveillance, particularly on a motorcycle in London where I have an almost cab drivers knowledge learnt through years of Close Protection driving in the Capital. I am a Private Investigator working worldwide and have a portfolio of clients I am currently carrying out Investigations for. I have Edexcel BTEC qualifications in these disciplines and have been trained by the Royal Military Police and the British Police in Close Protection. I have a current first aid qualification and I have been trained in automated external defibrillation (AED), anaphylaxis first aid and oxygen therapy.
I have my own expanding business in the industry, Briareus Security, and can offer the following services: surveillance, investigative services, tracking and tracing of people and property, process and summons serving, witness assessment including psychological profiling and statement taking. I can also provide Close Protection and risk and threat assessments for visiting VIP’s and close protection teams including anti surveillance teams.
Operational and ethical standards are maintained to the highest level without exception. Confidentiality, discretion and privacy for my clients are paramount and the Human Rights Act and the Data Protection Act (registration number Z187138X) are strictly adhered to. I have a full clear and current CRB check.
I have just completed a degree in Security & Risk Management by distance learning at the University of Leicester as I think continual professional development is crucial to working within this industry.
